Job Description

We are a volunteer organisation as part of the Rural Fire Service Queensland. We are looking for a group Finance Officer to join our Management Team. This is a support role, not a firefighting role. The Role The role is to support budgetary, financial, and administrative processes to ensure the effective financial management of the GC Rural Fire Brigade Group for 15 member brigades. Desirable skills include good self-motivation/time management skills, good communication skills, previous bookkeeping/accountancy experience, or having been a Treasurer in a community organisation, and good computer literacy including knowledge of Xero accounting software. Group monthly meetings can be remote and are held in the evenings. Need to Know Working with Children Check is required. Be a member or join GC Rural Fire Brigade.This can be a remote position.
