This role is responsible for leading and providing expertise to BU teams, participating in cross-functional initiatives, and guiding process improvements and policy establishment. The role collaborates with business leaders to influence strategic decision-making and conducts complex financial analysis to achieve objectives effectively. The role also represents the business unit and the organization as needed, builds productive relationships, and mentors lower-level employees. Responsibilities • Performs complex financial analysis for specific functions or business units, identifies issues, and recommends solutions.• Collaborates with business partners to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope.• Develops a strong understanding of contra programs and ensures compliance in rebates and incentives accounting.• Provides analysis for a financial function or a business, typically exercising a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.• Provides information and counsel in the areas of controls, budgeting, planning, return on investment decisions, and the development of overall business plans and strategies.• Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making.• Identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design.• Represents the business unit during cross-regional or cross-functional planning processes.• Solves difficult and complex problems with a fresh perspective, demonstrating good judgment in selecting creative solutions and managing projects independently.• Leads moderate to high complexity projects, delivering professionally written reports, and supports the realization of operational and strategic plans.• Provides mentoring and guidance to lower-level roles, thereby aiming to enhance individual as well as organizational performance. Education & Experience Recommended • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence OR Chartered Accountant.• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field or an advanced degree with 2-4 years of work experience. Preferred Certifications • Chartered Accountant (CA) Knowledge & Skills • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis, with advanced knowledge in one area.• Excellent analytical skills.• Excellent business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).• Excellent communication and influencing skills.• Superior teamwork skills.• Strong business acumen.• Good project management skills.• Excellent time management skills.• Process Improvement.
