We are seeking a Financial Services Officer to join our Franchise Support team. The position is permanent full time and located at our National Office based in Warners Bay. Working within an efficient and hands-on team, the Financial Services Officer will be responsible for, and work closely with, other members of the national office team to support our Franchise members by: Assisting with the preparation of weekly and monthly Profit & Loss reporting Ensuring recurring GL entries are input, and/or posted from source systems on a timely basis Reviewing and reconciliation of key expense and balance sheet items Assist stores with payroll functions Assist in reviewing and maintaining integrity of GL statistical accounts & reporting Assist our Franchise Members with enquiries In addition to this, the Financial Services Officer will assist with accounts payable and receivable processes and answering phone enquiries from our franchise members from time to time. To be considered for this role it is essential that you can demonstrate a willingness to learn all facets of the Finance and Administration processes within a business. You must have excellent attention to detail and good communication skills. You will need to be able to resolve issues logically and professionally. You will enjoy working with people and yet still understand that an eye for detail is core to the success of the business. This is a new position as part of a growing services team with a company that has National reach. Key to your application will be a positive personality and a 'can-do' attitude. Minimum Requirements: A good communicator, inquisitive, with logical problem solving skills Resourceful, innovative, forward thinking and committed Excellent attention to detail and commitment to a successful delivery of a task Excellent time management and organizational skills Competent computer skills in Microsoft Office and business system software, eg. Pronto Highly numerate with strong attention to detail Be a team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise A strong work ethic, honest and dependable Exceptional customer service as a first point of contact, in person and over the phone Demonstrated commitment to WH&S Ability to work in a busy small-team setting Prior experience within a finance team Experience in an accounting role Experience with 'Pronto' business systems Considering, or undertaking, an Accounting qualification If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
