Job Responsibilities Drive the continuous improvement of our purchasing and supply chain operation Improve customer relationships by delivering a best in class operation About Our Client Our client runs a franchisee operation within the FMCG sector, known for their commitment to quality and innovation. Job Description Lead the purchasing and supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency Develop, implement and manage strategic procurement initiatives with key suppliers Oversee supplier relationship management to ensure quality, cost and delivery targets are met Implement effective inventory control strategies Drive cost reduction initiatives across the warehouse operation Collaborate cross-functionally to align procurement and supply chain strategies with business goals Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Provide regular reporting on supply chain performance and metrics P&L responsibility The Successful Applicant A successful GM - Procurement & Supply Chain should have: A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field Proven leadership experience in a procurement and supply chain role within the FMCG industry A leader prepared to roll their sleeves up and work with their ops team to enhance their capability Strong commercial acumen with a strategic mindset Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills Adept at dealing with ambiguity and dated systems/process (we are on a journey to overhaul these) Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions What's on Offer A competitive salary package $180,000 + Super (negotiable) Opportunity to lead and shape a key function within the organisation A supportive culture that encourages professional development A chance to make a significant impact in the FMCG industry Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced industry.
