Reporting to the National Manager Operations Group GSE, your new role as a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Workshop Manager will see you responsible for ensuring safety, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency in our GSE workshop. In this role, you will lead a team of 20+ employees including contractors, promote a culture of safety, enhance customer relations, and optimise performance outcomes. Your expertise in WHS regulations, along with your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be critical in supporting our customers and planning employee engagement initiatives. You’ll have: Experience in cross-functional leadership/management roles across varying business units or work areas. Tertiary education in business or engineering would be highly advantageous. Significant relevant experience working with assets. Track record off developing and leading high-performing teams. Demonstrated understanding of fleet management systems and processes, WHS regulations and asset management frameworks. Significant knowledge in operational management, people management and safety management skills. Developed reasoning and decision-making skills regarding continued operations and equipment whilst accounting for the safety of customers and employees. Experience in driving sustainable change through an organisation. Expertise in appropriate project management tools and ability to exercise judgement in cause and effect, problem solving thinking.
