Roles and Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the company’s workshops, including scheduling, resource management, and quality assurance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, engineering, and sales, to align workshop activities with broader company goals. Provide leadership and mentorship to the workshop team, fostering a positive and cooperative work culture. Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity, streamline operations, and reduce costs. Ensure strict adherence to all relevant health, safety, and environmental guidelines. Identify opportunities for process improvements by integrating best practices and cutting-edge technologies. Track and report key performance metrics, offering insights to senior leadership. The ideal candidate: Significant experience in a workshop management or operations position, preferably with a background in reverse circulation drilling and the mining industry. Experienced in engaging with clients to resolve their issues and fulfill their requirements. Drafting skills would be considered an additional benefit. A proven history of driving improvements in processes and maximizing workshop efficiency. Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing systems and equipment. Competent in using relevant workshop management software and data analysis tools.
