General Manager of Engineering : Lead Our Engineering Operations Are you ready to lead a transformative engineering operation in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We're seeking a visionary General Manager of Engineering to drive performance across multiple sites for our client in the sand and concrete products industry. The Role : We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager of Engineering to lead our engineering activities and drive world-class performance through modern manufacturing equipment. The successful candidate will oversee maintenance operations, manage projects, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety compliance across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities : Develop designs, proposals, budgets and execute for expansion and improvement works in alignment with the business plan Manage contractor activities, ensuring compliance, effective scope delivery, and value for money Identify key risks in project proposals and ensure risks are effectively managed Deliver projects within agreed timelines and budgets Oversee maintenance activities across multiple sites, aiming to achieve 80% Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Drive equipment efficiencies and process improvements Manage sand plant operations and bulk product sales Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team Integrate IT operations within the engineering department Implement and maintain comprehensive safety management systems The Ideal Candidate : Holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Boasts 10+ years of engineering management experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role Demonstrates a proven track record in managing large-scale engineering projects and maintenance operations Possesses strong knowledge of modern manufacturing processes and equipment Exhibits excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills Shows proficiency in project management methodologies and financial management principles What We Offer : The opportunity to shape the future of engineering operations in a growing industry A challenging role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on management The chance to work with cutting-edge manufacturing equipment and processes A supportive environment that values innovation and continuous learning If you're ready to take your engineering leadership career to the next level and make a significant impact in the sand and concrete products industry, we want to hear from you.
