Group Entertainment Manager, Queensland Hospitality Group Client Profile Hastings People has been retained by a well-established, growing Queensland Group, as they continue the expansion of their head office team. The business owns and operates a diverse portfolio of venues across Queensland, with a strong focus on community engagement supported by a commitment to delivering great experiences. Job Description As the Group Entertainment Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing and selection of bands, DJs, and other performers across multiple properties. You will also be tasked with creating unique events to drive activity to the venues both on a large and small scale. The role will work closely with marketing and venue managers to ensure the entertainment programs align with the existing brands and appeal to the key markets in which the venues operate. Exposure to event production is also key, with the role requiring supplier negotiation and management, particularly for large-scale activations. Candidate Profile To be successful in this role you will need: A strong existing network comprised of booking agents, tour managers, and other entertainment providers. Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions relevant to event pricing, production, and marketing expenditure. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. A passion for creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional entertainment-driven activity. Creativity and innovation, with the ability to conceive and execute new event activities. Strong stakeholder engagement, allowing influence and buy-in with those you are working with.
