About the Role In the role, you will lead the delivery of all talent management strategies for Modaxo in Australia and New Zealand, directly supporting the Group leadership team and Business Unit (BU) leaders. Additionally, the role provides dotted-line coaching and advice to HR Business Partners across the Group BUs. As a strategic leader and trusted advisor, you will require a forward-thinking approach to predict and address complex HR challenges. The most important duties of the role are: Developing and implementing the Group HR strategies and policies in alignment with strategic business objectives. Overseeing the learning and development strategy for the Group, including strategic leadership programs, to enhance leadership capabilities and build bench strength. Leading succession planning efforts to ensure a robust leadership pipeline. Driving an informed & consistent approach to compensation and benefits across the Group. Overseeing key HR functions e.g. performance & talent management for the Group. Leading and developing best-practice talent management processes, including talent development, and retention programs. Measuring employee engagement, satisfaction, wellness, and retention, and working with Group and BU leaders to improve. Facilitating collaboration and sharing of best practices within the wider HR teams and across the Group. Supporting M&A activities, including HR due diligence and people integration. Overseeing Group-wide HR compliance and reporting. Overseeing HR Information Systems (HRIS) and processes to enhance operational efficiency. Providing strategic consultation on workforce planning and organisational design. Supporting Talent Acquisition and attract the best recruits by overseeing recruitment processes, with direct involvement in leadership hiring. Contributing to creating an employer brand that stands out from the competition. Helping create a seamless and engaging onboarding program that can scale and quickly facilitate high productivity of new employees. Promoting accountability and alignment with the organisation’s values and competencies. About You Ideally, you’ll possess most of the following: Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, with professional certification (e.g., AHRI). Extensive HR experience, including in both operational and strategic HR. Knowledge and understanding of employment regulations and HR practices. Outstanding people skills and highly developed coaching, communication, and influencing skills, and resilience to challenges. Expertise in creating and implementing learning and development frameworks. Ability to build comprehensive succession planning that identifies, develops, and retains high-potential talent. Strong strategic thinking, organisational skills, and business and financial acumen to align HR strategies with business goals. Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage in tough conversations and provide actionable feedback. Proven track record of building strong working relationships with business and human resource partners while fostering a cooperative work environment. Exceptional interpersonal skills, including influencing and change management skills. Courage, grit, and resilience to navigate complex challenges. Advanced problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering measurable results. Proficiency in HRIS software (ideally Workday) and advanced Excel capabilities for data analysis. Outstanding project management and organisational skills to coordinate multiple concurrent, complex, and high-priority initiatives. Experience of managing HR processes during mergers or acquisitions is preferred. Certification in Hogan Assessments is desirable but not mandatory. Ability to maintain confidentiality and remain objective while working with sensitive and confidential materials. Willingness to travel internationally as required. Questions?
