The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources & Recruitment Manager to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, acting as their dedicated HR and recruitment expert. You will be responsible for understanding their unique needs, implementing effective HR strategies, managing employee relations, and leading the recruitment of skilled blue-collar professionals. Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Act as a trusted advisor and dedicated HR partner for our clients, understanding their business objectives and providing tailored solutions. HR Strategy & Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with client goals and legal requirements. Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to both employees and management, ensuring fair and consistent practices. Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead the full recruitment lifecycle for a range of blue-collar positions, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and onboarding. Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor other recruitment team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Performance Management: Support clients in implementing performance management systems and processes. HR Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate HR record-keeping and compliance with relevant legislation. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our services. Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience (5+ years) in Human Resources and Recruitment, with a strong understanding of HR principles and best practices. Demonstrated experience in recruiting for blue-collar roles, ideally within the mining, infrastructure, construction, or energy sectors. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members. Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) - experience with JobAdder is highly preferred. Strong understanding of Australian employment law and compliance requirements. Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and thrive in a remote work environment. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
