Job Description Talga's investor relations function focuses on developing and managing the company's strategic communication with investors, shareholders, analysts, and key financial stakeholders. This includes crafting and delivering investor messaging aligned with corporate strategy across various communication channels. Develop & manage Talga's investor relations plan. Represent Talga at investor and finance conferences where required. Key responsibilities include preparing ASX releases, quarterly reports, and investor presentations, ensuring timely and accurate financial disclosures. The role also involves acting as the primary liaison with the investment community, including retail and institutional shareholders, analysts, and brokers, fostering strong relationships and engagement. Compliance with continuous disclosure obligations is a priority, ensuring transparency and regulatory adherence. Additionally, financial performance is closely tracked through broker consensus models and key metric analysis. Talga also conducts competitive and cross-divisional industry analysis to stay informed about market trends and peer disclosures, strengthening its strategic positioning. The Successful Applicant The ideal candidate for this role will have tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, business management, public relations, or a related field. Experience in business disciplines related to resources, battery materials, technology, or industrials is highly desirable. Candidates should have 7-10+ years of relevant industry experience in investor relations, investment banking, or corporate development within listed resources, technology, or industrial companies. International experience in markets relevant to Talga's business will be highly regarded. This role requires a deep understanding of key value drivers within complex supply chains, particularly for products with limited public information, including ESG-related factors.The candidate must have strong leadership skills and the ability to foster collaboration while demonstrating a commitment to Talga's values, culture, and purpose. Setting ambitious goals and ensuring accountability are essential traits, as is the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. The ideal individual will be action-oriented, capable of handling a significant workload within tight timeframes while optimizing resources for the best outcomes. They should be confident, resilient, and emotionally intelligent, with strong commercial, strategic, and tactical acumen. Excellent communication skills are vital, ensuring the ability to deliver consistent messaging internally and externally, even in uncertain situations.
