Brief Description: You will be responsible for providing advice on key HSE processes such as hazard management, incident, injury, and claims management, as well as undertaking HSE audits and reviewing procedures. THE OPPORTUNITY We have a vacancy for a proactive, responsible, and skilled individual who is focused on continuous improvement and compliance, relevant to the delivery of regional facilities management services. The position will be responsible for providing advice regionally on key HSE processes such as hazard management, incident, injury and claims management, HSE auditing and procedure review, legislative compliance, HSE presentations/training, consultation and issue resolution processes, HSE reporting, and health and wellbeing programs. Your key responsibilities will include: Undertake HSE policy, procedure, and process reviews and audits to assess application, verify compliance with company standards, and identify improvements. Develop consultation and communication plans to support the implementation of projects and programs. Maintain effective HSE risk management processes, including reviewing and updating HSE-related registers such as hazard registers, risk assessment registers, and chemical registers. Develop and update HSE communication and information channels such as performance reports, safety alerts, Toolbox Talks, and online portals. Undertake significant hazard/incident investigations as required, utilizing appropriate root cause analysis techniques. Assist with the resolution of HSE issues and promote consultation and participation from all levels within the company. You will be required to demonstrate: A Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety – Essential. Experience developing and delivering HSE training programs. Proficiency in maintaining and reporting on HSE statistical data as required. Proven experience reviewing outcomes and completeness of hazard/incident reports and investigations. Expertise in providing up-to-date advice, information, and interpretation of Acts, Regulations, Codes of Practice, and Australian Standards associated with business activities.
