Selecting an option from the list below will update the main content Head of Channel Partnerships AU Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Job Description Summary: We are seeking a proven and entrepreneurial Channel Partner leader as a critical role in driving the PayPal Australia business forward. This role requires a strong entrepreneurial flair, the ability to develop strategies and set direction, the ability to drive a strong executional sales and relationship management focus, and proven ability in leading a team through change within a large, global and successful payments environment. Meet our team The Head of Channel Partner will sit on the Australia Global Markets leadership team, reporting to the Managing Director of PayPal Australia. The key stakeholders for this role include local leadership from our SMB, Inside Sales and Account Management functions, amongst global stakeholders from a variety of Channel and Product disciplines. Your way to impact You will lead a team in a ‘hands on’ environment to identify and create opportunities, and drive them through to execution and successful partnership. You will have deep domain knowledge of the payments and digital commerce landscape and be well networked within the industry in order to grow the overall size of the ecosystem. You will have a strong track record of stakeholder management within a large and global environment, and an ability to deliver results in a meaningful and sustainable manner. You will have both an entrepreneurial flair, the ability to devise strategies, but also the ability to drive activity and executional focus with a track record in sales leadership. It is expected that you have a strong ability to work with, define, and interpret large data sets and insights. Your day-to-day Grow PayPal Australia’s overall business growth through channel partnerships. Lead a team of payment professionals in identifying, qualifying, negotiating and integrating partnerships that expand the PayPal Australia offering. Identify new avenues for joint growth, areas of investment, and opportunities to align partners' priorities with PayPal's in the region. Devise entrepreneurial and executable strategies for partnerships and growth. Manage a pipeline of partnership opportunities across the team, and be accountable for the output metrics. Review account planning disciplines across the major channel partnerships. Maintain ‘top to top’ relationships with key channel partners, working with the channel partnerships team. Develop playbooks for repeatable go-to-market, partner marketing campaigns, and improvements in partner health across cross functional teams. Contribute towards the design of broader APAC Channel partner strategy and APAC commercial SMB strategy. What do you need to bring Proven track record of leadership in establishing, managing and growing channel partnerships. Deep domain expertise in digital commerce and / or online commerce. Proven track record of sales/channel partner leadership and delivery of sales results. Ability to identify commercial opportunity from the value chain across varied business models. A track record of delivery within global and matrixed organisational structures is highly desirable. Strategic commercial mindset to identify broader areas of commercial opportunity for PayPal in APAC. Track record in leading a team and managing senior internal stakeholders.
