Our college is located in the priority growth area of Flagstone in Logan West.We are seeking a passionate and dedicated leader to join our dynamic senior leadership team in the role of Head of Department Teaching and Learning. This candidate will have a rich and deep knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and evidence-based pedagogy to drive improvement. The role of Teaching and Learning HOD supports staff capability development including overseeing our new and beginning teachers and collegial engagement practices. A key focus for driving improvement at our College in 2025 is reading. About the Role As the Head of Department - Teaching and Learning, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Lead the curriculum focus and school department in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students. Embed socially just practices in daily school life. Set high standards for student and staff performance. Engage in lifelong learning and professional development. Build partnerships with students, parents, agencies, and community groups. Be future-oriented and strategic.
