About the Role As the Head of Marketing Strategy, Insights & Growth in our Australia Retail division, you’ll play a key role in focusing teams and stakeholders on the biggest growth opportunities, ensuring marketing and growth strategies support divisional OKRs, whilst driving performance outcomes, efficacy and commerciality of the Marketing and Growth portfolios. The Head of Marketing Strategy, Insights & Growth is a new senior leadership role responsible for shaping and driving the Retail Marketing strategic plan, as well as broader Growth strategy for the division. You and the team will shape the long term vision for Marketing, develop the strategic marketing roadmap that focuses on balancing Retail objectives, and identify and monitor key drivers of business growth. As the Head of Marketing Strategy, Insights & Growth, you will: Lead and oversee the marketing strategy, insights, and growth function Define and set marketing priorities and identify key value pools Collaborate cross-functionally by partnering with various teams to pinpoint business opportunities Use data-driven insights and analytics to inform decision-making, including Marketing Mix Modelling capability Monitor and improve marketing and digital customer acquisition performance Develop the growth strategy, creating a pipeline of growth initiatives to take to market. Working with stakeholders to set growth, engagement and retention targets for each portfolio Establish and oversee systems for market research and customer insights Develop capabilities for marketing measurement and performance reporting Act as a thought leader across all consumer products to improve growth and deepen relationships with existing customers with a focus on digital marketing strategies What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Marketing Leadership with proven experience in leading marketing functions Expertise in strategic planning, prioritising, and aligning marketing strategies across various portfolios Strategic Growth excellence and the ability to identify new customer opportunities, driving change, and optimising revenue funnels, leveraging market intelligence and customer insights to drive growth Business/Commercial Acumen with strong capability to deliver commercial results and improve customer experiences Strong analytical ability and creativity with proven ability to merge analytical skills with creativity and strategic thinking Experience in measuring, analysing, optimising and reporting on marketing execution and activities Demonstrated skills in managing and influencing various stakeholders, including Executive Management You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
