Join our dynamic Team at DHL Global Forwarding! We are looking for a Head of Safety, Security and Operational Resilience, with responsibility for Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and Fiji. With specialized solutions for growth markets and industries, including technology, life sciences, and healthcare, engineering, manufacturing and energy, auto-mobility, and retail, we are decisively positioned as “The logistics company for the world.” At a high level, in this role, you will be responsible for: Ensuring compliance on Security, Business Continuity Management along with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) matters, providing advice and regular updates to country management on the same. Ensuring that our environment is safe, secure, and compliant by fostering a safety-conscious culture. Developing, implementing, and monitoring policies, procedures, and practices to safeguard employees, customer shipments, assets, and information from loss, damage, or incidents. Key Accountabilities: Maintaining and improving existing certifications in ISO22301, ISO45001, Australian Trusted Trader (AEO) and other national security and safety programs. Ensures supply chain security, risk mitigation, business continuity management and regulatory compliance, while fostering a culture of safety and security in the organization. Foster effective communication with stakeholders, team members, etc. To monitor trends and provide reports in key performance indicators. Significant experience in a leadership role preferably in a multinational environment, with demonstrated stakeholder engagement. Strategic thinking and the ability to guide teams and shape organizational strategies. A strong knowledge of risk identification, mitigation, and compliance. Demonstrated crisis management skills.
