This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students with disabilities by providing expert guidance, support, and leadership across four schools.As the Head of Special Education Services (HOSES), you will: Manage and coordinate the delivery of high-quality advice and support for students with disabilities. Lead and support teachers in developing and implementing effective, evidence-based strategies and reasonable adjustments. Provide targeted intervention and case management for students requiring substantial or extensive support. Establish and maintain school-wide systems to monitor student progress and oversee the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD). Work closely with school leadership teams, teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a collaborative and inclusive approach to student success. Oversee human, financial, and curriculum resources to enhance support services and drive positive outcomes. This role is ideal for a skilled leader with a deep commitment to inclusive education and the ability to foster strong relationships with staff, families, and the wider community. Based in the picturesque Keppel Coast region, this position offers the opportunity to lead meaningful change and support students in reaching their full potential.
