This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students with disabilities by providing expert guidance, support, and leadership across four schools.As the Head of Special Education Services (HOSES), you will: Manage and coordinate the delivery of high-quality advice and support for students with disabilities. Lead and support teachers in developing and implementing effective, evidence-based strategies and reasonable adjustments. Provide targeted intervention and case management for students requiring substantial or extensive support. Establish and maintain school-wide systems to monitor student progress and oversee the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD). Work closely with school leadership teams, teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a collaborative and inclusive approach to student success. Oversee human, financial, and curriculum resources to enhance support services and drive positive outcomes. This role is ideal for a skilled leader with a deep commitment to inclusive education and the ability to foster strong relationships with staff, families, and the wider community.
