Health & Safety Advisor - Commercial Construction Salary: A$130,000.00/yr - A$180,000.00/yr Location: Brisbane Job Type: Full-time Start Date: ASAP About the Company: Our client is a well-established commercial construction company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across Queensland. They are committed to maintaining the highest safety standards across all sites and are looking for a dedicated Health & Safety Advisor to join their team. The Role: As a Health & Safety Advisor , you will be responsible for driving a proactive safety culture across multiple commercial construction projects. Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and management, you will ensure compliance with Queensland WHS regulations and support the ongoing improvement of safety processes. You will be working on multi-residential developments and large education build projects ranging from $30m-$80m. Key Responsibilities: Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments Implement and maintain WHS policies and procedures Ensure compliance with Queensland Work Health and Safety legislation Provide safety training and support to site teams Investigate incidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions Maintain WHS documentation and reporting Foster a strong safety culture across all levels of the business About You: Minimum Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (Diploma preferred) Proven experience in a construction WHS role Strong knowledge of Queensland WHS legislation Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Construction White Card & valid driver's licence What's on Offer?
