Role - Health, Safety & Environment Officer - 2x Positions Location - Benalla, VIC Schneider Electric's commitment to health and safety is reflected in its approach to various roles, including the Health, Safety & Environment Officer at its Benalla location. Looking for a new opportunity in the workplace safety space? We have 2 positions available for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join as Safety Officers. The Safety Officer reports directly to the HSE Manager and plays an important role in the development, implementation, and monitoring of OHS systems, policies, and procedures and safety initiatives, ensuring that we provide a safe workplace for our employees. The role’s responsibilities include but are not limited to: Conduct regular WHS inspections and daily Safety walk. Conduct regular toolbox talks. Review and follow up on safety actions and programs. Provide advice and support to management on safety related issues and promote positive behaviours. Undertake risk assessments and assist in updating of procedures and processes. What we are looking for: 1 years’ experience in a safety role. Qualification in OHS (Cert IV or Diploma) or similar. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven computer literacy in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Understanding of workplace health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
