About the Role Join our team as a Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) Advisor , where you'll play a crucial role in shaping and implementing initiatives that enhance workplace safety, employee well-being, and compliance. Reporting to the Executive Manager - HSW, you'll lead improvement projects across key focus areas, including Occupational Violence, Psychosocial Risk, and Operational Safety. Responsibilities Design, implement, and evaluate HSW improvement initiatives. Collaborate with department managers to align safety strategies with operational needs. Provide expert guidance on mental health safety in the workplace. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies. Develop and maintain HSW procedures, SOPs, and compliance documentation. Investigate safety incidents using ICAM methodology and drive corrective actions. Influence and support leaders in fostering a strong safety culture. Deliver HSW training programs and identify learning gaps. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive safety excellence. Ensure compliance with state and federal HSW legislation. About You Certificate IV or higher in Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent experience. Proven experience as a safety professional in a relevant or high-risk environment. Strong understanding of workplace mental health and psychosocial risks. Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Experience in risk assessment, compliance, and incident investigation. Strong project management skills and ability to drive change. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSW-related software.
