To help us achieve this we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health Safety & Wellbeing Advisor to join our team. This role focuses on providing expert advice and support to deliver Council's strategic objectives, mitigate safety risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a safe culture. Key Responsibilities Partner with leaders and staff on Health, Safety, and Wellbeing initiatives. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and assurance activities. Prepare and deliver reports and recommendations. Lead incident investigations and manage health and wellbeing, injury management, and workers' compensation cases. Analyze data and present meaningful reports. Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement. To Succeed In This Role You Will Have Diploma in WHS or ability to attain it. Extensive knowledge of WHS legislation and practices. Audit and investigation qualifications or ability to attain them. Experience in rehabilitation and return to work. High computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office and safety reporting tools like DoneSafe. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proactive approach to finding efficiencies and improvements. Remuneration And Benefits Employment Type: Full time, Permanent 35 hours per week Salary (exclusive of super): In the range of $84,727 to $98,467 depending on skills and experience This role also qualifies for tool of trade allowance.
