Initial 3-month assignment | Possibility for extension. Are you an experienced IT Support Officer looking for a new challenge in your career? The Role Providing essential support for the School’s IT environment, you’re a highly skilled and customer-focused IT Support Officer, keen to join a dynamic team. You’ll be delivering front-line service to students, staff, and parents while providing your expert Level 1 technical assistance for laptops, mobile phones, desktop computing, audio-visual equipment, and telephony platforms. You’ll be the first point of contact for service requests and will work closely with the overall school community and third-party vendors to ensure a seamless IT experience for all. Your wider team consists of Level 2 and Level 3 Support experts as well. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for the school’s laptop program, mobile, and desktop computing, including software and hardware issues. Be the first point of contact for service requests logged through the help desk system. Operate the School’s Service Desk, always delivering exceptional customer service. Implement and support the School’s audio-visual platforms. Deploy devices in accordance with asset management practices. Contribute to the development of the IT knowledge base as well as assist with planning and execution of digital projects. Flexibility to work across multiple school sites if needed, and availability for after-hours support when required. About You You’re a proactive and customer-oriented IT professional who can thrive in a dynamic school environment. You have a support background in IT and are adept at providing comprehensive IT support to a wide range of users. Your passion for technology is matched by your dedication to enhancing the digital experience of others. You bring a ‘student-first’ mentality. Working in a team is where you thrive. Collaborating closely with colleagues across departments and third-party vendors won’t come new to you. Naturally, you’ll bring a solid understanding of IT service management methodologies such as ITIL. You may bring over tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in IT.
