Our services include: Home Care Services Residential Aged Care Retirement Villages The Opportunity: As a Home Care Clinical Lead/ Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will play a leadership role in ensuring that our clients receive exceptional clinical care in their home environments. You will be responsible for leading and shaping the clinical care provision for the home care team, providing vision, governance and leadership to home care teams, clients, and their families. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in the Home Care Leadership team, contributing to our response to the significant reform the sector is navigating, ensuring that all of our clinicians are well supported, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times. Key Responsibilities: Be Home’s Care clinical leader. Support the setting of direction and accountability through the development of robust, evidence-based care governance structures. Contribute to UPA's response to both Support at Home and Strengthened Standards reforms, ensuring we are well positioned to respond to regulatory change, as well as evolving client need. Monitor and evaluate the delivery of clinical care services to ensure compliance with best practice guidelines and organisational policies. In partnership with our central clinical governance team, facilitate training and professional development to our team, based on insight on client need and required competencies. Act as a point of contact for complex clinical issues, providing expert advice and support. Ensure the governance structures including our clinical assessment process comply with regulatory and organisational standards both through the defining of the process and support for services to successfully implement. Participate in audits, quality assurance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. Essential Qualifications and Skills: Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a clinical nursing role, with experience in home care or aged care preferred. Strong understanding of the clinical and regulatory standards in aged care services. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based care. Experience in managing complex care needs and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. High-level problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team. Current police check and working with children check (or willingness to obtain).
