INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fourth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing and transport. The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as 'The Food Bowl of Australia' as around 25% of the total value of Victoria's agricultural production is generated in this area. Horticulture Service Officer Hourly Rate: $33.85 (plus 25% casual loading; industry allowance)Closing: Friday 21 February 2025Casual Greater Shepparton City Council currently have Casual positions available within the Parks, Sport and Recreation team. The successful applicants will be responsible for the safe and competent operation and maintenance of all plant, machinery and tools used to perform parks duties while demonstrating a strong commitment to Occupational Health and Safety. Previous horticulture, agriculture or native vegetation experience or qualifications would be an advantage and a current MR truck licence is required.
