We're looking for an IT Configuration Manager to lead the establishment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of our IT Configuration Management practice. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and governing standard practices, managing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and ensuring data quality and integrity. You'll also support key stakeholders, provide informed feedback, and contribute to the development of enterprise architecture artefacts. As an IT Configuration Manager, you'll manage the end-to-end process of Configuration Items, coordinate and participate in forums, and support the design and delivery of IT service support processes. Your strong interpersonal skills will help you build and maintain good working relationships with business stakeholders, technology partners, and vendors. If you have demonstrated experience in IT Configuration Management, competence with ServiceNow, and a customer-centric approach, we want to hear from you! About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you’ll tick some of the following boxes too: Demonstrated experience in an IT Configuration Management role and function within a corporate business environment. Demonstrated competence within Service Now and developing and executing continuous improvement plans. Experience and working knowledge of common services data model CSDM. Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and leading the IT Configuration Management practice. Strong knowledge and technical capability administrating IT Configuration Management practice on the Service Now platform, inclusive of the maintenance and administration of the CMDB, Discovery and Service Mapping. Extensive expertise and proven experience in managing IT assets, encompassing both software and hardware asset management. Strong interpersonal, both written and oral communications skills including the ability to negotiate, consult and liaise with business, technical and supplier personnel on complex and technical IT issues. Ability to develop and present reports, submissions, and recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences. Knowledge of IT services and operations as well as the ability to take a customer-centric approach to the services that the IT Configuration Management practice facilitates. Mature understanding IT Infrastructure in a large, diverse, and complex environment. Strong problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to effectively plan, prioritise and manage multiple and competing activities to deliver IT services that meet business expectations.
