Due to the exciting expansion of our firm, we are looking for an IT Systems Technician to join our team in Sydney! 29th January, 2025 With offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Newcastle, the successful candidate will need to be agile, adaptable and skilled to assist team members in both an on-premises and remote working environment. The IT Systems Technician will work as part of the IT support team, working closely with other helpdesk support team members and will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the firm's workstations, virtual desk and applications. General Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Head of IT, some of the responsibilities you will take ownership of include, but are not limited to: Assisting Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne and Brisbane staff with all day-to-day computer/application support enquiries and issues (remote and on-premises); Working with the ticketing system to prioritise and complete tasks, including managing your own ticket allocations and KPI timeframes; Allocate and setup Virtual Desktop machines/Laptops for new staff including:AD setup AAD management VDI desktop profiles Application and Mobility provisioning Undertake system support, including troubleshooting apps and internal systems that are part of our SOE; Remote and on-premises system support, troubleshooting various apps and internal systems; Help maintain system patching through the use of our deployment systems; Help setup and maintain SharePoint access and page creation; Support front of house video conferencing systems and setup of Zoom, Teams, WebEx, including large scale presentations; Support and manage mobility deployments including mail, dictation and practice management access; Assist with IT team projects as required; Regular vendor communication. Requirements To be considered for this role, you will have: A minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience in a similar role; Be agile and a good critical and innovative thinker; Continuously updating team process documentation; Working knowledge and experience of Windows 10, 11, Office 2016 - Office 365 and Document Management Systems, preferably iManage; Working knowledge and experience with Case Management and Practice Management systems; Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software; Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; The ability to work within a small team environment. In addition, it is desirable that you: Have previous working experience in a legal or professional services environment; Have experience building and implementing best practices within a service desk/helpdesk environment; Have previous experience with Azure applications and Azure Virtual Desktop; Have previous scripting experience including PowerShell, VBA and SQL.
