We are looking for a motivated and reliable IT Officer to join our IT team at Gidgee Healing to assist with the delivery of efficient Information Technology services to enable Gidgee Healing to meet its business objectives. You will assist across a range of areas including: First-level helpdesk support and advice Assisting with basic support for software and hardware installations Providing general IT advice and support to internal staff Assisting with general office and administrative duties IT maintenance support where required Selection Criteria Genuine interest in Information Technology, especially how it relates to a healthcare work environment. An awareness of Aboriginal Community Controlled health care. Basic knowledge of Personal Computer components and operations. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications, or equivalent software. Skills in managing time and prioritizing work. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills. Ability to resolve basic problems with minimal supervision. Adaptability to a changing environment and the ability to meet the demands of a busy work unit. Proven ability to work effectively within a team. Ability to take instruction and listen to guidance and advice. Willingness to learn and develop your skills. Other requirements Current Blue Card (working with children and young people) or willingness to apply for a Blue Card. Willingness to work flexible hours as required, including the requirement to travel, work and stay overnight for up to several days at a time in remote areas.
