Land & Built Environment Program Officer Job posted: 23/01/2025 Job type: Full time / Fixed Term until 30 June 2025 Organisation: Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action Occupation: Land Management Reference: VG/50926587 The Land and Built Environment Officer supports place-based planning and delivery of agreed priorities relating to public land management across the Hume region. This includes providing environmental and land use information and advice and public land administration and governance services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, approaching others with politeness, professionalism, and consideration. You will be aware of team dynamics, respond thoughtfully to others' moods, and express your views constructively. Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications Qualifications and/or experience related to public land is desirable Experience using computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint (electronic filing), and spatial mapping or databases (Grants, Customer Service, etc.) or similar is desirable. This is a fixed term position available for a period until 30 June 2025. The work location for this position is negotiable within the Hume Region with hybrid work arrangements available.
