About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Power BI Developer to oversee the design and development of reporting, data visualisation, and dashboarding capabilities for the University. This role combines administrative and development responsibilities. Your responsibilities will include: Drive the design, development, and implementation of advanced Power BI reports and dashboards aligned with business needs. Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical specifications. Create cross-domain Power BI models based on data from the enterprise data warehouse for self-service reporting and centralised reporting solutions. You will also have: Post graduate qualifications in Information Technology, Business or a relevant discipline, combined with extensive management experience in a large and complex organisation, or an equivalent mix of education and significant relevant experience. At least 3 or more years of experience in leading Power BI development and administration. Hands-on experience with Azure services and Fabric. In-depth knowledge of Power BI service administration, including capacity planning, performance optimisation, and security management. Demonstrated expertise with BI tools in large and complex data warehouse environments. Advanced proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and SQL. Solid experience in data integration and ETL processes. This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
