Leading Hand Plant Mechanic | Diesel Mechanic | Heavy Vehicle Mechanic 145,000 – $175,000 per year + OT penalty rates National business with a strong reputation providing comprehensive solutions including bulk dozer push services, coal quality and recovery, crushing, load and haul operations, and land rehabilitation. Their large maintenance team operates from two well-equipped workshops in Newcastle and the Hunter Valley, offering robust support for their growing fleet. The Opportunity Join the on-site maintenance team where you'll play a key role in maintaining and ensuring the reliability of our fleet. We offer flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle, whether you prefer day, afternoon, or night shifts. The Role Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a diverse range of mining and civil equipment. Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems. Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and reduce unexpected breakdowns. About You Trade-qualified Plant Mechanic, HV Mechanic, Auto Electrician, or Diesel Mechanic. Experience with mobile plant equipment. A strong work ethic and a drive to advance your career in the mining industry. What’s in it for You Earn $150 - $175k + super + access to overtime shifts at penalty rates.
