The role We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Teacher to join our Learning Strategies Team at the Wheelers Hill Junior Campus of Caulfield Grammar School. We have multiple fixed term opportunities (0.6 - 0.8 FTE) commencing in Term 1 and Term 2, 2025. You will provide one-on-one, small group, and classroom support for Junior School students, collaborating with classroom teachers to plan, resource, and implement Individual Learning Plans for Literacy and Numeracy. Knowledge and experience working with students on the autism spectrum would be desirable. As a valued member of our team, you will play a key role in positively impacting students' experiences and contributing to our vibrant school community. Please note: due to the Christmas shutdown, we will be in contact in the New Year. Key duties Work collaboratively with teachers in the development and implementation of student-centered Individual Learning Plans. Use strategies based on knowledge of students’ physical, social, and intellectual development and characteristics to improve student learning. Maintain written documentation on student learning as required. Contribute positively to the wider team and school environment. Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours. Skills and experience Demonstrated experience supporting curriculum differentiation within the junior school environment. Knowledge and experience working with autism will be highly regarded. Qualification in Learning Intervention (i.e., Special Education post grad) is highly desirable. Relevant Teaching Qualification and VIT registration.
