We are seeking a dedicated Manager – Injury Management to lead our proactive injury management strategies, ensuring early recovery and a durable return to work for our employees. If you have a background in allied health and a knack for providing expert advice, this role is for you! As the Manager – Injury Management, you will play a crucial role in supporting our employees through their recovery journey. You will be responsible for developing and promoting proactive injury management strategies, providing expert advice on injury prevention, and overseeing our Early Intervention Program. Your expertise will help reduce the physical, social, and financial impacts of workplace injuries on our employees and the business. Develop and promote proactive injury management strategies, collaborating with health and safety advisors on injury prevention initiatives. Provide expert advice on injury prevention and management, supporting HSW and injury management teams while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practices and legislative requirements. Oversee Crown’s Early Intervention Program, ensuring timely follow-up on new injuries and incidents, monitoring ongoing treatment appointments, and controlling program expenditure. Manage and assess workers’ compensation claims, handling a portfolio of claims in line with legislative requirements, and developing and distributing return-to-work (RTW) plans in consultation with relevant parties. Implement coaching to enhance knowledge and skills, providing behavioral, leadership, and technical coaching to key parties, and conducting training and briefings for managers and supervisors on injury management processes. What we are looking for: Tertiary qualification in allied health/health-related field. Significant hands-on experience in Injury Management/Workers Compensation. Comprehensive knowledge of WHS and WorkCover legislation. Proven ability to manage and assess workers’ compensation claims. Strong communication and leadership skills.
