Job Description

Manager – Window Furnishing Installation Team Are you an experienced leader with a background in installations and project coordination? In Curtains and Blinds is seeking a Manager for our Window Furnishing Installation Team to oversee our installation operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. About the Role As the Manager of our Installation Team, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of window furnishing installations. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and hands-on problem-solving skills to ensure smooth project execution from planning through to completion. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination: Liaise with builders throughout the construction phase on high-end residential and commercial projects. Motorisation & Electrical Integration: Work closely with electricians to ensure motorised blinds are installed correctly and in optimal locations. Scheduling & Logistics: Plan and organise large-scale multi-residential and commercial installations, working with the Scheduler to optimise the weekly and monthly installation schedule. Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, ensuring all necessary inventory and consumables are available for upcoming installations. Team Leadership: Manage and support the installation team and workshop assistant to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality installations. Safety & Compliance: Assist the Director in developing and implementing safe work methodologies to enhance installation safety and efficiency. About You To excel in this role, you should have: Experience in installation management, preferably in window furnishings or a related industry. Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and projects effectively. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with builders, electricians, and internal teams. A proactive and hands-on approach to work.
