Overview: Full-time, Continuing position Salary $130,748 - $140,089 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working Are you ready to drive strategic Asia Pacific initiatives at RMIT? We are seeking a dynamic leader to manage key functions including project management, communications, and events within our Asia Strategy & Impact team. This role is crucial in linking our initiatives to RMIT’s vision to be a leading university of impact in the Asia Pacific region. What You'll Do: Drive strategic planning and execute large projects that align with RMIT’s goals. Build and nurture partnership networks, ensuring their growth and sustainability. Lead a talented team by setting clear objectives, fostering a culture of open communication, and guiding them through both strategic and hands-on tasks. Who You Are: You’ve successfully led the operations and strategic development of partnered initiatives or projects, ideally in a university or government setting. You're experienced in managing small, agile teams, and you know how to work as part of the team and empower them to achieve their best. Strategic thinking is second nature to you, and you have a track record of crafting and managing projects that advance broader priorities. You have a keen eye for spotting and securing new strategic opportunities. Your experience in international and cross-cultural contexts sets you apart. About the Portfolio: The International and Engagement group is led by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor International & Engagement and Vice-President. The portfolio is responsible for RMIT’s international strategy and agenda, including international development and partnerships and oversight of our international operations including RMIT Vietnam and RMIT Europe.
