Manager Business Unit 5D - Electrical - Francis Greenway Correctional Complex Division: Corrective Services NSW Location: Berkshire Park, NSW, AU, 2765 Employment Type: 1 x Ongoing, Full-Time role Salary: $133,459pa + Superannuation + Annual Leave Loading Your Role We are currently seeking two experienced Managers that are logical and strategic thinkers with robust trade and business management experience within the plumbing and electrical industry. As part of these roles, the successful applicants will be responsible for overseeing the activities of the Business Unit to ensure productivity, efficiency and other commercial objectives are achieved. You will need to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and staff as well as assist with business development. Responsibilities: Supervision and management of staff and inmates by appraising performance of business unit and offering counsel and feedback to ensure that the organisational outcomes are achieved. Strong time management and computer skills. Experience working in a high-pressure environment and managing to deliver key business objectives within set timeframes. Willingness to work across all trade units as required. Manage resources and budget efficiently and effectively to achieve planned outcomes by business units. Maintaining duty of care and complying with WHS safety requirements to sustain a safe work environment for staff, inmates, contractors and visitors. What we’re looking for: Proven recent post trade experience in Electrical. Experience demonstrating the ability to meet the key accountabilities and focus capabilities as detailed in the role description. Ability and willingness to work across various trades as required. Capability to work away from home at short notice and sometimes for long periods of time. Current Certificate III in Electrical or willingness to obtain within set timeframes by CSNSW. Contractors licence in Electrical or willingness to obtain within set timeframes by CSNSW. Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or willingness to obtain within set timeframes by CSNSW.
