As the Manager Community Safety, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, compliance, and well-being of our diverse communities. Key Responsibilities: Oversee Ranger Services, ensuring the highest level of compliance and community engagement. Develop and implement strategic plans for emergency services, fire management, and community safety. Lead, mentor, and manage a dedicated team to drive positive community outcomes. Build strong relationships with residents, stakeholders, and local businesses to foster a culture of safety and trust. Skills and Experience Requirements: In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, compliance, and enforcement practices. Extensive experience in community safety, emergency services, and incident management. Proven leadership with strong communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills. Hands-on experience in fire management, firefighting, and bushfire safety. Strategic and operational expertise, including budget management and planning. Strong IT proficiency (MS Office, Synergy) with excellent administration and report-writing skills. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma or higher in Leadership & Management, Local Government (Regulatory Services), or a related field. Fire Control Officer (DFES) and Recovery Coordination experience preferred. What’s on Offer?
