Manager Library Operations - North West Region This is a Department built entirely for children and young people and their communities. Our ultimate goal is to work together to ensure that every child and young person in Tasmania is known, safe, well and learning. The child is at the centre of everything we do and the way we do it. Duties Coordinate and manage the operations of library services within a region, together with developing and promoting high level links between Libraries Tasmania and community stakeholders. Promote an integrated network of library services to meet the information and learning needs of local communities. Period of Appointment Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1. Hours per fortnight 73.5 hours per fortnight Minimum Requirements Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment) Tertiary qualifications in library and information studies Tertiary qualifications in leadership, management, education or other relevant discipline Application Process Electronic submission of application is preferred, please click the blue 'Apply Now' button.
