Job Description Permanent full-time position at Network Aviation (NAA), a Qantas Group airline, based at Perth Airport Fantastic leadership opportunity to drive impact and operational performance improvement Cross-functional role with high exposure across the business and operations Network Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, providing high-capacity air charter and regular passenger transport services. We operate a fleet of F100 and A320 jet aircraft from our base at Perth Airport and specialise in mining industry charters, regional airline services, routine and emergency freight and corporate charter flying. As the Manager Operational Performance , you will be reporting to the Head of Customer Delivery and Transformation and be responsible for driving Network Aviation’s operational performance standards. This includes leading a systematic review of on-time performance reporting, monitoring and improvement opportunities. You will be managing a team of two analysts and actively driving the analysis of all available On Time Performance (OTP) data. In conjunction with the Head of Customer Delivery and Transformation, you will also be implementing a strategic approach to the collection and analysis of data to generate new insights to help drive performance improvement and operational efficiency. A key part of this role is building strong and collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across multiple levels and functions in the business and operations. If you have experience in stakeholder management, are analytically minded, and have a desire to drive change management, this could be the role for you. You’ll have – Minimum 5 years’ experience in Operations environment (aviation and/or performance improvement experience highly desirable) Proven problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data sets across multiple systems Able to effectively interpret data and present insights (including from incomplete data sets) to influence outcomes Experience in change management is desired, and having the ability to identify, drive and, implement operational improvements and efficiencies in partnership with other business units/stakeholders Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work collaboratively with operational leaders Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to work to a designated timeline Previous experience managing small teams and a proven ability to develop and coach team members to leverage data to inform insights Strong written and verbal communication skills.
