About the role This role leads and manages Housing Solutions’ Policy and Products team concerned with providing strategic and operational support to the broader program, primarily through effective policy and procedure development, communications and business administration. The Manager also leads and contributes to projects concerned with researching, developing and implementing products and services that support the achievement of program objectives and customer outcomes. The Manager Policy and Products reports to the Senior Manager, Policy & Loan Management. What you’ll bring to the team Knowledge and understanding of policies and procedures relevant to a targeted lending program. Experience preparing and implementing policy or product proposals. Experience in leading and managing teams to achieve positive outcomes. Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively, including demonstrated capacity for effective negotiation and consultation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Demonstrated ability to undertake policy and procedure development in a complex legal and regulatory environment, particularly through well-articulated and documented policy, procedures and instructions. Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and strategic thinking abilities. Excellent interpersonal skills (including high level written and oral communication skills) and a collaborative team-based working style. Well-developed organisational and project management skills.
