Swinburne Research is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our Research Analytics Services team. As the Manager, Research Analytics Services, you will play a pivotal role in managing and analyzing enterprise research data to inform strategy, measure performance, and ensure compliance. In this key leadership position, you will oversee a specialist team responsible for the collection, management, reporting, and analysis of research data. Your expertise will support the University's strategic direction by providing high-quality insights and analysis, managing data quality, and ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting requirements. About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: Substantial experience in complex data collection, analysis and reporting within a large organisation, meeting both internal management and statutory reporting requirements. Excellent organisational and project management experience in scoping, planning and managing complex projects, as well as the ability to prioritise work processes and manage resources to meet agreed standards in a high-pressure environment with tight timelines. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences and prepare high-level correspondence, reports, and presentations. Demonstrable ability to proactively identify data needs and potential information value from disparate sources of data, and to subsequently deliver that value in a manner that leads and aids the decision-making process. Knowledge of the higher education and research sectors in Australia, especially in relation to research funding, research impact and TEQSA threshold standards. Strong and demonstrable team leadership and management skills that promote excellence, collaboration, and inclusivity, with the ability to effectively lead a professional team, manage change initiatives, and oversee workforce planning and performance. Qualifications Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
