In this hands-on, impactful role you will be responsible for leading a team of about 10 Service Planners to plan and fund evidence-based services for Lifetime Support Scheme (LSS) participants. You will lead this team to deliver person centred case management to meet the individual needs of a diverse cohort of participants with serious injuries that may include brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, burns and blindness.You will have a leadership style that is authentic, trusting, and innovative which will enable you to provide great leadership, coaching, capability building, expert advice, and support to your team.Working with and across multiple teams, you will also lead the evaluation and ongoing development of Service Planning delivery, including preparing practice guidelines and summaries for Executive and the Board, to promote rigorous and consistent assessment and provision of motor vehicle injury related treatment, care and support.The experience we are looking for... To be successful in our position you will have: Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively, including proven leadership qualities required to inspire, develop and guide teams. Experience working within a person-centred allied health framework including identifying service delivery risks, issues and opportunities for improvement and applying philosophies of health and disability care to guide innovative resolution of complex issues. Comprehensive knowledge of the issues related to the national disability and health sector, including the needs of individuals with a disability and continuous improvement methodologies for person-centred health and disability care service delivery. Demonstrated effective interpersonal and negotiation skills that drive excellent customer service, foster trust, confidence and co-operation with a range stakeholders. Now, a bit about who we are...
