About the role: Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for manufacturing excellence? We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to oversee our production and maintenance operations. This role is part of the Senior Leadership Team and offers the potential for career growth in the future. In this position, you will drive operational performance, safety, and continuous improvement while leading a skilled team to achieve production efficiency, quality, and delivery targets. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the manufacturing and maintenance teams to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production. Drive a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance with OHS and environmental policies. Implement Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity. Oversee preventive maintenance and asset reliability strategies to minimize downtime. Ensure high-quality production standards, reducing defects, rework, and customer complaints. Develop and mentor team members, fostering a culture of engagement and continuous improvement. Monitor and analyse manufacturing performance, implementing solutions to meet business objectives. About You: Degree or tertiary qualifications in relevant business discipline. Extensive and proven experience in manufacturing management, ideally in heavy metal or industrial manufacturing. Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving safety, quality, and efficiency improvements. Experience with Lean manufacturing, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies. Knowledge of maintenance strategies and scheduling to ensure asset reliability. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work under pressure, make quick decisions, and drive positive change. Proficiency in Office 365 and ERP systems, with strong analytical and financial acumen.
