Securing the best rates and placements through strategic negotiations. Allocating budgets efficiently and optimizing cost metrics like CPM, CPRP, and SOV. Using industry tools (e.g., Nielsen, SMI) to track market trends and competitor spending. Measuring campaign success and optimizing media spend. Ensuring adherence to media contracts, industry regulations, and auditing processes. Functional Work (Strategic & Relationship-Based) Working with strategy and planning teams to align investment with campaign goals. Ensuring cross-channel synergy between traditional and digital media. Maintaining strong relationships with media owners and securing first-to-market opportunities. Keeping up with new offline media trends, formats, and technologies to enhance campaign effectiveness. Stay ahead of emerging trends in offline media, such as programmatic TV, dynamic OOH, and new print/digital integrations. Skills & Experience required for this Job 3+ years of experience in a media agency, and a deep understanding of media planning principles, including reach, frequency, and audience segmentation. Understanding how offline media integrates with digital campaigns to maximize impact. Experience working with Programmatic TV, Digital OOH, and cross-media measurement techniques. Expertise in negotiating media rates, added value, and sponsorship deals with vendors like TV networks, radio stations, OOH providers, and print publishers. Awareness of new media formats, evolving TV and radio consumption trends, and innovations in OOH. Ability to leverage new technologies like addressable TV, dynamic OOH, and contextual print advertising. Huge Bonus if you have Programmatic Buying Knowledge – Understanding of emerging automated TV and OOH buying. Experience using media planning/buying tools like Mediaocean (Spectra/Prisma), BCC AdSystems, or TV monitoring platforms.
