Medicine Nurse Team Leader - ARH Brisbane Full-time Animal Referral Hospital (ARH) Brisbane is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing exceptional specialist and emergency services to pets in need. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Vet Nurse to join our dynamic team and lead our Medicine Nursing staff. The Role Co-ordinate daily operations and manage staffing resources in the Medicine Department Care for both hospitalised patients and outpatients, assisting in sample collection, sedation, preparation, restraint, and anaesthesia for further specialised diagnostics, such as ultrasound or endoscopy Optimise scheduling of appointments and procedures throughout the week Maintain cleanliness/hygiene and order of the hospital in collaboration with senior nurses from other departments Supervise and foster growth of the medicine nursing staff Co-ordinate the medicine nursing roster Support the Hospital Manager with equipment repairs and maintenance About You Cert IV, Vet Tech qualified or higher A strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team while adapting to and problem-solving challenges Professional, genuine, and personable with exceptional written and verbal communication skills Previous referral hospital experience preferred Previous leadership experience is advantageous but not essential; we will help you develop your leadership skills!
