Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced NDIS Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our NDIS-related services, ensuring full compliance with NDIS standards, managing audits, and driving continuous improvement across the organisation. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our services meet regulatory requirements and play a key role in the expansion of our services to better support NDIS participants. Key Responsibilities: Ensure all services and products fully comply with NDIS requirements, standards, and guidelines, ensuring we maintain the highest quality in service delivery. Manage and resolve non-conformities identified in client applications and services, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly and thoroughly. Provide audit support, ensuring that all documentation, processes, and services meet NDIS audit requirements and are fully prepared for external audits. Conduct regular research on the NDIS market, including competitor analysis, industry trends, and upcoming regulatory changes to keep the organisation ahead of the curve. Develop and implement strategies to address any gaps or opportunities within our NDIS service offerings, striving for operational excellence. Collaborate with internal teams to align NDIS services with broader company goals and objectives, fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement. Provide training, support, and mentoring to staff members on NDIS-related matters, ensuring all employees are well-informed on compliance standards and NDIS processes. Support the creation of clear, concise, and accurate documentation for NDIS-related services to ensure stakeholders are well-informed. Serve as the point of contact for NDIS compliance-related queries and issues, offering expert advice and problem-solving solutions as needed. Assist in the development of new initiatives aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of NDIS services, working with other team members to implement these strategies. Engage with key stakeholders, including service providers and regulatory bodies, to maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards. Qualifications: Extensive experience in the NDIS field, with a deep understanding of NDIS frameworks, standards, and operational processes. Proven ability to address and resolve non-conformities identified by auditors, demonstrating a solution-oriented approach. Experience working with Australian clients in the healthcare or disability sectors, with a strong knowledge of local regulations and industry practices. Research and analytical skills: Ability to conduct market research, identify industry trends, and respond effectively to regulatory changes impacting the NDIS sector. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including clients, service providers, and auditors. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines. Familiarity with key NDIS tools and systems, and the ability to provide insights and recommendations for improving business operations.
