About the role: Reporting to our National Construction Manager, this role will manage the national acceptance team across all clients for our Telecommunications Wireless sector. You will ensure the successful acceptance of Ventia's wireless technical build projects and handovers adhering to specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This role will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, construction teams, and subcontractors taking a proactive approach to measure, monitor, and prevent client rejections, identifying areas for driving improvements. The role will have accountability to achieve right first-time quality and meet our client expectations and milestones.Based from our North Sydney corporate head office, this position offers flexible hybrid working with time in the office, onsite face-to-face with internal and external stakeholders, and work from home. There will also be a need for interstate travel when required. We are flexible with being based from our head offices in Melbourne, Brisbane, and open to other locations for the right applicant. Role Responsibilities: Plan and manage build acceptance activity including ensuring forecasting for key acceptance milestones, client targets, facilitating accurate project closeout, invoicing, managing budgets, and staff requirements in line with business targets for acceptance functions across all national clients. Establish and implement reporting to review trends and provide feedback to track and improve our handover packs and performance. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to acceptance team members including training, mentoring, and ensuring a high-performing and cohesive team environment fostering a quality and growth mindset through facilitation of the entire national team. Ensure acceptance criteria is formalized with all national clients and team members establishing checklists and a completion of documentation that meet client requirements. Ensure compliance with applicable industry regulations to technical build standards and client variations. Identify and implement systems and continuously improve processes to uplift efficiency of the entire national team with a focus on quality and innovation. Establish and lead recovery of aged sites as required. About you: Tertiary level qualifications in Telecommunications, electrical engineering, or a relevant discipline. Extensive operational and project management exposure within a complex business at scale that are client-facing. Technical wireless build programs with experience managing wireless network acceptance handovers. Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership capability working with national remote and diverse teams. Well-developed knowledge in driving continuous improvement. Exceptional business acumen and written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated experience with quality, quality control measures, and quality audit management.
