Reporting directly to our Chief People & Culture Officer, the National Director WHS & Wellbeing will lead the safety experience at St Vincent’s. You will build and lead an integrated and mature workplace health and safety culture across our diverse health businesses. Key Responsibilities: Build and invest in relationships with St Vincent’s leaders to foster a partnership approach and embed a proactive safety culture. Lead St Vincent’s national WHS and wellbeing function to create a safe and healthy working environment. Develop and drive implementation of a unified safety management system in line with applicable legislation and best practice. Implement effective risk identification, mitigation, and hazard control processes. Ensure injury and claims management programs are established and monitored to promote efficient return to work. Negotiate with workers' compensation insurers to optimise policy structure and claims management. Identify and promote health and wellbeing programs and resources. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, promoting professional development. Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and manage reporting to the Board and National Executive Team. About You The successful applicant will have a minimum of 10 years' experience leading a WHS and wellbeing services team, with experience reporting to a Board highly desirable. This role has full autonomy to design, lead, and deliver a safety strategy that is best practice for health.
