The Role As Assistant Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our service, ensuring that children’s needs are met with compassion, care, and enthusiasm. Your key responsibilities will include: Acting as the responsible person for the service, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed. Creating a safe, inclusive environment where children and staff feel supported and valued. Managing children’s attendance and bookings, ensuring proper supervision at all times. Leading and mentoring educators to ensure the smooth running of the program. Assisting in the planning and delivery of educational and recreational programs that inspire children’s curiosity. Sharing the children’s experiences and growth with families, strengthening those vital connections. Building strong relationships with the school community and families to foster a sense of belonging and support. This is a permanent, part-time position with 33 hours per week . About You We’re looking for someone who: Holds a qualification in Child Education and Care (or is working towards it). Has prior experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC). Holds a Certificate in Child Protection training. Possesses current First Aid certification. Has a valid NSW Working with Children Check (or is willing to obtain one). Has the right to work in Australia (visa sponsorship is not available).
