Working from our Newstead office, the office coordinator / office manager is the first point of contact for all business stakeholders. They are responsible for the management and continuous improvement of the Administration function across the QLD business unit. The role will have a handover period from the current office manager, who is returning to her hometown after 3 years of employment, commencing as Junior Administrator. Here’s what a typical day might look like for you: Reception & general admin duties: Greeting clients, answering incoming calls, ensuring stationary & kitchen is stocked - fruit, snacks, cheese, milk, coffee machine Organising social events! Processing of invoices Improving processes and systems Assist with new starter onboarding; introductions to other staff, taking temporary corporate photo Reporting and managing any equipment maintenance (e.g. printers, coffee machine) What experience will the successful candidate have? Your success here will be defined by the energy you bring to work every day. You’ll love what you do and have a “roll up your sleeves and get things done” approach. Here are the essentials you’ll need for this role: Ability to multi-task and take job ownership; there are multiple contact points and responsibilities for this role Experience using Jobpac and in the construction industry; ADVANTAGEOUS (however not essential) There will be a handover period for this role, with plenty of training and ongoing support to make you feel comfortable and confident.
