Role Overview: We seek an accomplished leader to join our Executive Leadership Team as General Manager, Operations. This critical position oversees daily operations across our national warehousing network and drives strategic initiatives to optimize efficiency, enhance customer satisfaction, and support sustainable growth. Main Responsibilities: Lead Day-to-Day Operations: Ensure alignment with company vision, values, and standards in all warehouse branches. Develop Operational Processes: Standardize workflows, processes, and operational policies across the organization. Mentor and Develop Teams: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within high-performing teams. Manage Relationships: Develop strong relationships with vendors, partners, and stakeholders to integrate new processes and technologies seamlessly. Analyze and Improve Operations: Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and drive future growth. Oversee Warehouse Management: Manage warehouse management systems (WMS), transport logistics, and plant/equipment initiatives. Ensure Compliance: Maintain operational compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations and drive environmental sustainability initiatives. Requirements: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (MBA highly regarded). Extensive experience in senior operational management or business analysis roles, preferably in warehousing or logistics. A proven track record of delivering operational efficiency and driving transformational change. Expertise in project management, risk assessment, and implementing technology-driven solutions. Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, ROI analysis, and P&L management. Exceptional leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels. High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and a growth mindset to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
